I guess I have no idea why anybody else saw humor in it, so I guess that’s fair.

If the AI video had been made absent from the actual event, I’d agree it was just mean. But I remember thinking the situation was absurd when I saw it, and yeah my comedy brain went immediately to “how could this get more absurd through escalation.”
