Any time the owners decide something collectively that would be bad. But..
No one is preventing him from working. He is under contract. He can get paid according to the terms of the deal he signed.
The owners would just be preventing him from forcing a trade - which he doesn’t not have a right to.
And I am not sure what the damages would be.
