the people who like college football are more likely to have gone to college and/or either prefer the college game to the NFL, or like it about as much. I don't have data but I'd guess they are more affluent, more educated than NFL fans and less into bad fried food and bad beer. But the new ESPN model on Saturday seems to be geared at NFL type fans.

Maybe they are trying to split the difference and appeal to everyone by doing the students kicking FGs and having alumni pickers in addition to the Neanderthal McAfee.
