Good post. I'm assuming as well that Whitt will get the dumb shit cleaned up - otherwise we're in big trouble, because that was supposed to be a big strength of his. The talent is there, and is looking great for next year too.

The loss was handle insanely flukey, even with all the gifts we gave them. We dominated down to down. We're not out of the playoff race yet.
But Whitt and his hiring of Beck, and Beck completely sucking, is worrisome. Maybe the next coordinator will be better, but do we know Whitt will shitcan a bad hire immediately or will we waste another year with this guy?
And how much of Beck sucking is general direction from Whitt? Did he call the run on 3rd and 5? Because it might not matter who the OC is if the real problem is that Whitt is a dumbass old man dinosaur. He might not have forgotten how to coach, but it's a different game now than it was for the rest of his career. Great coaches adjust when something isn't working - so adjust.
