Whit hates the penalties/lack of discipline and I expect improvement. He yells and disciplines off the field. His sideline demeanor has always looked like this- he’s not mailing it in or disengaged. If coaches don’t do their jobs, they don’t last. Utah went through offensive coordinators like a revolving door for a while. Beck has only been his OC for two years, so he won’t be married to him. Still, the improvement in the offense since the season started has been positive and it may take Beck some time. Every OC makes a dumb call and much of Saturday’s problems can be attributed to flukes or poor execution. It’s too early to pass judgment.
