I have been in favor of paying players for over 50 years. What I'm not in favor of is the failure and corruption of our so called 'free- market' system.

Profits from big time college athletics would be much better spent on academic scholarships, adjunct professors, University service workers etc.

And though I admit to being addicted, I do see that it has just become part of the circuses promoted by a ruling elite.
