In the same way that Trump 47 is worse than Trump 45 because he has banished the normie Republicans who would rein in his worst impulses (or at least ignore him until he moved onto a new obsession), Bibi has gotten worse because he has burnt his bridges with most of the normie conservatives in Israel because he is a thoroughly untrustworthy person. That's why he has glommed onto people like Ben Gvir and Smotrich, who were beyond the pale in prior Israeli governments and now have cabinet-level positions. Bibi needs people like that and he has become even worse as a result.
