Starting new scooter thread. JJ - you obviously have never been to Disney in the last 10 years and also don’t have experience attending such a place while being responsible for children. I’ve never been annoyed by somebody in a scooter anywhere else besides Disney.

They are everywhere. This is already a very congested place with several choke points. Now you have a bunch of people riding scooters. Think about the competency of the average driver and now they are operating one of those things on a pathway close to my kid. Kids who are too young to be that aware of their surroundings.

The entitlement of some of these people is also amazing. Driving super fast when they shouldn’t. Blocking traffic while they talk to each other. Overall, completely disrupting the park.

Why do I assume the worst about people? Because that is reality. Parks were not always like this. Should I be able to show up at the current ccrb equivalent and demand the college kids play half court so I can keep up? Disney isn’t a right. This 25 year old very well may be disabled. No idea. I know for sure the odds are not 100%. She was traveling alone. She got up off that scooter and walked and stood for the next 15 minutes.

I see it just as these stupid support animals. Instead of people with a valid reason, we now have eveybodg with a small pet. Give an inch, take a mile.
