Your comments are great observations, and while I know his distance in the later years is hard to explain, I am sure he cared for you and the rest of the family. It doesn't mean he didn't think of his family every day.

Losing 3 parents in a year has to make this time in life seem very surreal. Let us know if you want to chat more.
