We have a fence resolution (or fence-olution, if you will)
It's over. The surveys agreed on the property line, but somehow they still built it over. I thought they lined up the posts on the line, and just the boards were over, but some of the posts were, too. Not sure how they managed that.
The fence guy started wrangling w my neighbor. "Maybe if we move the boards..."
Neighbor not having it. "What about the posts on my property?"
It's probably better for me the posts were over. The guy sounded like he was going to try to move the boards despite her objection to getting the back of the fence. But with the posts over, he's stuck.
They'll move the posts. No cost to me at least.
Mildly annoyed by this whole thing. Got a lot of hassle that just wasn't necessary. Also neighbor definitely not chill, so that's something to look out for.
Still. Could've been worse.
