when we pummelled Hawaii. Harbaugh had his first full freshman class and we played a bunch of them and you could see the talent upgrade.

Was Miami 84 the opener? It might have been. Fools gold as we were rebuilding a bit and had an off year but beating defending champs and picking off 6 Kosar passes was fantastic at the time.
