I think a more modern voting bloc would have looked more kindly on Keith's HoF credentials than the late 90s/early 2000s did. He was SOL because of his HRs/RBIs/Hits compared to other 1B and other players of his era, whereas the modern voters would value his on base skills and defense. And even his speed relative to other 1B
