I could buy incompetence. A screw up. Some dude paused the clock thinking he paused the play but more plausible. Got it.

If they’re saying the Big Ten cheated. Cheating for a sure win? Nope. They cheated for an off chance of a successful 50 yard Hail Mary. Reputational risk be damned, the Big Ten felt it was worth the heave for a team projected to finish somewhere between 4-6th in the conference. Ummm, ok.
