It can’t happen. It’s very clearly in rules that the officials decide when game is over. When CMU won on errant extra play everyone ack it was wrong but there was no way to change. Same deal*

Sincere question: Has the result of a football game (or any sports team game) ever been reversed ex post facto because of an officiating mistake? (There doesn't seem to have been a mistake here but even if there was how is this any different from a million other games?)
