The report above doesn't mention Zuqar Island, but it would make sense strategically for the Houthis to seize it. That would threaten all the maritime traffic moving to and from the Suez Canal via the southern part of the Red Sea.

Americans may quickly add the Bab-al Mandab Strait to the Strait of Hormuz to the list of chokepoints that will increase their economic woes.
