My primary issue was the idea that he SHOULD have seen that and SHOULD have made that change in that particular situation.

They exited the huddle and snapped the ball within 5 seconds, 2 seconds after getting to the line. It was clearly a designed quick snap. Everyone, even the analysts who have ball knowledge are armchair QBing it saying “really should seen that” and ignoring the context of the play call.

I would be in 100% agreement if it were a different scenario and Bryce was intended to survey the field and do a pre-snap read.
