I mean, there are no guarantees, but Utah was the SP+ #3 offense last year, ferchrissakes.

And their bread and butter was a bruising running game. That’s a great cultural fit for Michigan, right? When has UM’s offense ever been excellent without a strong power running game?

He likes to use the QB’s feet as a weapon, and if there was ever a QB built to take that kind of licking and keep on ticking, it’s Bryce Underwood.

Obviously, we should expect some transitional costs in year 1, but I bet UM’s offense is statistically much better than either 24 or 25 this year (low bar), and better yet next year in year 2 with jr. year Bryce.
