yeah, i share your sentiment. Once Beck was confirmed I was totally onboard with the Whittingham hire. He took them from something like 99th(!?) in SP+ to 6th on offense.

it may be coach speak but Whittingham has specifically talked about how important it was that Becks O was a quick transition because of the turnover in college football today and in particular because he needed a fast turnaround on O from the disastrous 2024.

Also, Beck is new to UM, but not to coaching under Whittingham, so maybe that minimizes some of the transition costsā¦
