getting a top 25 prospect, a top 50ish prospect, and another riding close to top 100 is about the biggest haul possible for a 2 month rental. Some posters at the previous version of the board suggested they might get a single top 75 prospect for him. The sort of odd thing with Hope and Ryan is that different sources are quite different on both. They are each seen as a top 25 or so prospect in at least one place, but more like top 50/60 in other places. Both have very high ceilings.

As for Mize, I am less sold on what they got back for him but also feel it really kills their chances this year. They are literally number two in the AL in scoring differential. They could push for the division without Skubal. Without Skubal and Mize? It will be tough to string together a rotation. Better hope Melton and Montero can both be great and then Flaherty can come back strong. Personally I would have kept Mize and then made him a QO in the offseason and taken the draft pick if he leaves.
