It is blatant. I asked it about a tax transcript involving a return from a prior year

It said, I understand what happened, the IRS moved your refund out in 2024 so you have to tell me what tax year it applied it to from those transcripts.

I said, remember I told you I filed the return in 2026 so the IRS could not have moved the refund out in 2024 because they did not know the amount of the refund.

AI said 'you are correct to point that out; it makes complete sense that the IRS did not know the amount and could not have transferred your refund out to a different year'
