Lurking since the 90s - This is first post ever . . . might be my last

This Board is still the best way to keep up with all the things I care about: all things Michigan, Detroit (where I grew up but moved away after school), sports, current events, politics. I've felt pretty disconnected from the world without it for the last few days.
