I always thought Dec 96 but maybe it was Jan 97 after the bowl loss.

I remember Brent Shull. His email was OSUH8TR@whatever.com.

The entire first year was Dreisbach vs Griese debates with many suggesting to put Kapsner in. Not many mentioned Brady, who ended up the backup to Griese.
