Caught the tail end of the VV board

I am a class of 2000 engineering grad who got married in 1998 to my fellow Michigan student girlfriend I met at the very beginning of 1997!

I am pretty sure I started lurking in 1997, but never really posted until 99/2000 timeframe. I remember the board basically educating me on politics, Apu speak, and "gonads and strife". Also remember the Father John era really well and debating Catholic religion (I am raised Catholic) with Frodo when he just seemed a little weird/conservative Catholic and not full Trump transphobic nutter.

I wish I had half as much interesting to add as many of you, but try to not "just" lurk.
