I don't know why, but compared to every other blue blood, go ahead and include Texas, the national media can't stand to ever hype UM.
It's sorta like the Jim Era doesn't exist. If any other blue blood had three state conference titles and a natty just a couple seasons ago they'd get appropriate coverage.
The only national guy of note hyping us is Pate I believe. Which feels like a kiss of death, so careful what I wish for I guess.
