The Hall of Fame is a hall of 'fame'. You can be famous for other things than objective statistics. Certainly you should be in the ballpark but there are no real rules about eligibility.

For me it's not about Morris being in, it's about some of the other names also not being in.

Baines, I don't get. He had none of the 'fame' elements Morris did (titles, WS excellence, All Star starts, etc).
