I have to disagree with this

The Vikings have been far better than the Bears and the Lions since the mid-80s.

Obviously, the Bears have the Super Bowl win in 1985. Since then, they have 13 playoff appearances, 1 super bowl, and two other conference championship games.

Over that period, the Lions have 11 playoff appearances, no Super Bowls, and 2 conference championship games.

Meanwhile, the Vikings have 20 playoff appearances, no Super Bowls and 5 conference championship games.

Since 1985, the Vikings have the 9th best winning percentage in the NFL. The Bears are 18th and the Lions are near the bottom.
