When I was a young conservative guy the idea of infidelity, swinging, it was all so black and white to me. I couldn't understand why people took back spouses who cheated. The idea of how people could swing seemed so foreign. Like on so many levels. A lot of it was probably based on religious underpinnings of how sex is viewed and valued in relationships.
I have so mellowed out in my old age, especially about what other people want to do with their lives and relationships. Maybe part of that's the fact I no longer have the "my religion and politics are the only right one and therefore should be for everyone" world view. I have become a leftist and deconstructed a religion in my time on this planet. So even if it's not for me, I can see why people are into swinging. I can see why people will take back a cheater. I can see why some couples are into ethical non-monogamy. I know enough couples we are friends of or acquaintances with who have such messed up marriages... Like the openly don't like each other and are yet together and will tell you about their dead bedrooms. If everyone is happier overall I can how partners having completely mismatched libidos could be comfortable enough to not care if their partner gets some on the side if pre-agreed upon rules are followed. If they're getting some spice and variety together swinging or picking up 3rds for a threesome online, good for them.
If my wife wanted to try a threesome or something, I think my issues would be more about hygiene and our relationship than a moral holdup. I'd listen to her even if I think I couldn't do that or want to share that part of us with someone else. We were each other's first everything and I know her bringing up the topic isn't likely to happen since she sort of hates most men, but my reaction would be "that's not right for us or me." Not that it's immoral, or somehow she's talking about breaking our vows, or she's dirty to suggest it.
I'm sure some people won't appreciate my nuance here and say I'm a cuck or want to be, but I don't even judge the Tard or two here who secretly is probably into being a cuck and actively encouraging it. That's what I'm saying.
