I don't see a 50-, 40-, or possibly even 30-state move to (effectively) bar new data centers. There will be places for them.

Less choice of location means higher costs from data transmission, more captured power, scarcer water, greater regulation, and the like.

I do wonder if, at some point, "premium access" will vary by state. For individuals this won't matter much. Firm migration could result.
