It's odd to the point of not credible for Texans to say they oppose data centers anywhere in the state. I don't see that as meaningful.

I would believe it for small states or TX districts.

Data centers concentrating in the West excluding CA is easy enough to anticipate. Telecom grid can support that fine, but they'd need local power.
