Not sure if the dynamic is the same for country club sports - but women’s college sports have the added dimension

Of sexuality.

There are mixed teams and there are all gay teams. That’s just the reality.

You have to let the kids navigate that on their own. Most of the time parents have no idea.

Have had more than one girl from our town leave a school because of “off-ice” issues.

  - That is a very valid question and a highly debatable one. But as a whole, I am just not a huge fan of small schools. Plus, you know, even a bottom Ivy carries the name of an "Ivy."
