Coordinators do less technique teaching than the assistants. If he was guilty of anything it was expecting

that players would be in the right place to execute. They were not.

That was something McDonald and Minter did not have to worry about with coaches like Clink, Jaybaugh, Partridge, Nua and Elston coaching the defense. Pretty simple IMO.
