If it were simply a matter of the unofficial NBC graphical clock being different than the official stadium clock being reviewed by the officials then there would be no controversy. Instead, while the play was under review NBC showed a replay that showed the official clock hitting zero before the ball was touched, which presumably was the same footage the officials were watching. That is what generated the confusion and gave rise to the ridiculous conspiracy theories. I’m surprised you seem unable to grasp this.
