        This is correct. Whitt was the best choice given very limited options. The hope was (still is) that Whitt could provide some stability, be a bridge to the next coach, keep the Michigan ethos (dominant OL/DL and run game) intact.         I don’t think this is accurate. Harbaugh viewed/endorsed Moore as his successor. Moore’s work as OL coach and OC was instrumental in the 40-3 run.
