Close losses at OSU and Oregon = second round loss. No thanks.

Scheduling tougher competition allows the team to improve at a faster rate than playing cupcakes. Because we play OK early on that helps us with the later tougher games. If we can’t win those games, we suck anyway.

        My central point is that a team's record is not reflective of its actual quality because of how lopsided schedules are now.
