Pac 8/10/12 always seemed to be the most coherent conference

Top level sports teams in every Division I sport except lacrosse and hockey. Their scheduling used to actually take the "student" part of student/athlete seriously. Some great rivalries. Six clearly matched pairs of schools (ASU/UA, USC/UCLA, Cal/Stanford, UO/OSU, UW/WSU and, at the end, Colorado/Utah). All of it squandered because they didn't generate good TV ratings. What a waste.
