People hate the government because they've been told to hate the government. Every talking head and political ad tells them how bad the government is. People hate the DMV...

and want to complain about it. I can go online and make an appointment and show up at the DMV and get my license renewed. People still complain because they won't even try to make it work, they won't make an appointment.
