His OMB Director has publicly said his goal is to fire 3/4 of the federal workforce.

Most of his political appointees despise their employees. If you can’t cut administrative costs with a Republican trifecta, maybe it’s actually not possible? Meaning; perhaps the reason we have such high administrative costs is because people don’t actually want streamlined government services. Just like college football teams won’t commit to a formula for deciding who qualifies for the playoffs.
