that the VA was actually badly understaffed, and noRe efficient than the tech companies he worked for. They just fired a GSA official in charge of FedRAMP for publicly admitting that many agencies are understaffed, and that Veterans’ Preference makes it very hard to hire qualified people.

Is permitting difficult and expensive because of state & federal workers, or because homeowners and established businesses want it to be hard?
